We offer mindfulness courses that are accessible to everyone. These are skills-based courses that offer tools and techniques to help participants become more familiar with the workings of their body and mind, recognise unhelpful patterns of reacting to difficulties, respond skilfully, rather than react, and cultivate a greater sense of compassion for oneself.

Mindfulness in the workplace
More and more companies are realising the benefits of mindfulness and recognise the fact that a healthy workforce is better for everyone in the long run. We offer customised training, workshops, taster sessions and Comprehensive courses to provide participants with key mindfulness techniques and guidance that enable them to embed the benefits of mindfulness in life and at work.
Put simply, mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present: aware of what we are doing, as opposed to worrying about what might happen in the future or ruminating about what has already happened
My Name is Rachel and I am the founder of Connect & Thrive.
I have worked with adolescents and young people in various contexts for over 20 years - as teacher, middle leader and behaviour manager in the UK and Europe. I now work independently as a mindfulness and wellbeing trainer, teacher and consultant, supporting schools and organisations in integrating meaningful and sustainable wellbeing practice and policy. I specialise in helping educational institutions to formulate and maintain a whole school approach to emotional and mental health for staff and learners, recognising that every member of the school community needs to thrive in order for a school to perform at its best.
